Racing thoughts
I try and i fail
again and again
cant seem to shake it
shake off the sin
trapped in this sinful
body i live in
has me following the ways of men
but my heart is with god yes its true
my heart is with the lord
and it cant be moved
til the end i will follow
and stick to him like glue
the temptation surrounds me
ready to devour
minute by the minute
hour by the hour
leaves me filling filthy
like i didn't take a shower
but i will stay with the lord
i will not be a coward
the road is long
the road is rough
the road is dry
the road is tough
although the road we walk is a must
i have the lord by my side
and that's more then enough
