    Rebirth

Broken mind begins to mend, I return to a place i've never been. A place I can laugh and smile, not afraid to breathe. Beneath all this pain, hope begins to grow. Memories fade and die, without the slightest hint of regret. Broken heart afraid to try, stitched back together by the will to live. Hope and patience take place of guilt and remorse, the man remembers his worth. This is his time of rebirth

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
