Retain Sight

Retain Sight

Heaven through skies
Burning air thrusts upon thy soul
Cold water dripping down my skin
Patience of this purpose to live
Hands tight braced on the limb
Eyes seeking answers forward
Looking back from growth
Pure essence of passion
Ecstasy for desire
Destined to obtain change
Come lay asleep
Rest away your worries
Time ticking to a slow wake
For this is young for heart old for mind
