    Riddle of Life

Darkness falls as the pendelum of life cuts another string
my heart ebbs with pain at the chill of the dark night
clothe me, and heal me, bring about nights end.

with rays of light dispersed in shadow
a blind guide reveals the way
crooked paths, mazes of the mind
let me loose in my labyrinth and so stop time

    Mysteries of the heart unknown
    Faithfulness has yet been shown.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
