Roger
Roger
The sky became unctuous and heavy
Like sweet sangria.
Your skin shone in the fading glow.
Preoccupied with the curve of your shoulder
You were at ease, eyes soft,
Settled in some far away Eden.
I just watched you, for that moment
Content to be a witness to your tranquility
And I love you so, love you like this.
