    Romeo and Juliet

I can feel my spirit wither,
with the setting of the sun.
Though my precious makes me quiver,
    I don't think he'll be the one.
Why does my heart play such terrible games,
when without you I am cold?
All I can do is call your name,
as I weep for my tormented soul.
Like a banshee, I cry in vain,
I cry through these endless nights.
I sit outside even in the rain,
just praying to see you in sight.
Can I forget all the times we had?
    Too hard to even try.
Until that fateful day, stay glad.
I hope we don't say goodbye.
Shall I continue this emotional demise,
should I let this relationship grow?
I melt whenever I look in your eyes.
Just one of the reasons, I can't let you go.

    The title is a cliché

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
