    Satisfied

    Silk-gray clouds hang
    heavy above the earth,
    breeding tiny, luminous crystals;
    breathing glittering dusty whorls
of white into the cold air.
    Dead yellowed grass,
    dusted with confectionery sugar,
soon becomes layered with icy frosting.
    Tree branches, broken and brown
    resemble crooked bones,
brilliant and sparkling in the half-light
    of the gray-curtained sun.
The landscape is soft, pearly and pale.
The wind blows clean and cold,
    urging clouds aside,
    unveiling the sunlight.

My eyes are dazzled by the whiteness.
    I breathe in the vision,
taste the chill as it rolls past my tongue,
and hold the freezing air inside my lungs.
    Savoring the beauty
I exhale puffs of warm vapor,
turn my back on the vision,
    and walk inside.

I like it, it satisfied me it was very touching and I lovedhow you captured everything with detail....

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
