Scullery Maid
She came aboard a scullery maid,In Juneau in the springtime.
Running form a past,
Sought refuge in the maritime.
With glacial beauty all around her,
And there's winter in her heart.
Whale gore is is all about,
And the evil visions start.
As throes of death consume the beast,
Sparks flash in her widened eyes.
Her vengance is now sated,
When it sighs its long last sighs.
Both once alive, but now both are dead,
Love's fury itself, itself will kill.
All life is now departed,
But she is suffering still.
