    She's Gone...

    My little girl
    Was all I dreamed
    The past repeats
    Unreal it seemed...

    Things happen a reason
    All on their own.
    Now I sit here crying,
    Sad and alone...

    For a moment in time
    Things seemed so bright
    A whole new experience,
    But things weren't right.

    A constant concern
    I couldn't let go.
    They did the tests
    And all were thorough.

    Unhappy results,
    A flashback 4 years.
    Why did it happen again?
    A flood of tears

    Constant backache,
    Then excrutiating pain;
    How can this be?
    My body I blame.

    I did things all right
    I tried my best.
    Now wasn't her time
    She's now at rest.

I am so sorry for your loss.........some of the best writing comes from our painful experiences!!!

the pain of losing your little girl will pass, her memory is yours to keep

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
