    Shining Star

    I woke up one morning,
    filled with an awful fear.
I looked for you all over,
    but you were nowhere near.

    I called out your name,
    so many times.
But when I was done all I,
could hear was the clock chime.

    I opened the window,
to see if you were out there.
    But not a soul,
    could be seen anywhere.

I looked up in the sky,
and I was finally able to see.
    You were right there as,
    the brightest star shining down
    on me.

Kinda reminds me of earth, wind and fire's song I know them really and produce and write music, but it has a good potential of making a good song. Good Luck grecowong@yahoo.com

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
