    Sigh

A sigh is such a funny thing
but not with the frustration or anger it brings.
Fear not of love but being alone
I pray one day I'll hear you over the phone.
    I fought a battle which I thought I'd lose
I was so in love but made out a fool.
    With everyday that past,
I hoped so much we'd keep this and make it last.
No more early mornings with you,
Oh, this world is so cruel.
I swore up an down I wouldnt let go,
But, I waited to long to watch things unfold.
"I love you" is what I was told,
So simple an meaningful you are with a heart of gold.
    Two birds of a feather,
    Now an forever.

Haha how naive can I be,
To think there'd always be a you and me?
Now staring from the outside in,
I see what kind of life would have been.
Although I haven't lost you yet,
I feel this will be a decision I'll regret.

Losing you will tear me apart,
and loving to lose is such an art.
Being with you was everything I was about
Now I'll see her with what I have to live without.
That baby means much more than you think,
But, with the old saying I sink.
    Sink or swim they say,
but the ultimate price is what I pay.

Losing the love of your life,
By choice I now give up being your wife.
The life I shared with you,
Was something much more than what I desereved to do.
I wish you'd take my hand and lever let go,
Hold on tight and tell me to go with the flow.
But I know its all a dream,
With all the plots boiling an the cookin scemes.
In my heart is a dark place,
Reserved for the loss I eventually face.
    I'll miss your laugh,
an bringing cloths while your in a bath.

Your nothing I'd thought you'd be,
my dream man your much more to me.
I wont stop you from doing this,
Just give me one last kiss.

Lets kiss and say good bye,
And with this I'll take my last sigh.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
