Silence Speaks
Silence' shouts are clamouring, demanding to be heard. Echoing adamantly across the room.. though no conversation occurred. Silence speaks so sincere, when talk leaves no impression. Calling out for you to hear.. wanting your undivided attention. Silence assuredly has a voice, speech so crystal clear. When words have failed silence prevails.. and engulfs the atmosphere..When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
