Sitting Here

here i am sitting here staring at this screen, wondering what im doing what is this what does all this mean, pecking keys scratching at my head trying to form a word, wondering will this be ever seen will this ever be heard, when you find yourself on this road keep it o so real, tell it like it is thats when the pain starts to heal, take a look inside yourself and let it flow so free, but if you see me sitting here please jus let me be.

I feel you sitting there staring at that screen. I wonder what could be if I could sit there with you. No time to peck the keys or feeling let you be.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
