Biography
I'm 29 years old and I was born in Manhattan, NY. I grew up in Brooklyn Center, MN and moved to Daytona Beach, FL to attend Bethune-Cookman College. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I have a 5 year old son whom I absolutely adore.
I began writing at the age of 11, but I only got extremely interested at age 14 when I first read poetry by Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes. I realized that they spoke so freely about their life and experiences and it touched me in so many different ways. I've been writing ever since. I have written over 200 poems and several have been published in National Anthologies. My ultimate goal is to publish a book of my poetry. We shall see! Until then, enjoy the works that I have written that have come from my heart and feelings. They mean so much to me!
