Nubian Pt. 2

The black man is what you don't wan't to miss
because in all honesty...you can't get any better than this.
This is as close to perfection that you're ever going to see,
for this is how a real man is supposed to be.
Honest, strong and longs to be seen
and will do whatever to protect his Black Queen.
Strong mind and independent with a heart of gold,
the black man is of mystery; yet to be told.
He's respected by everyone: man, woman and child
he has his fun, but never acts wild.
He has his sense of humor and always keeps his pride,
and he handles difficult situations one day at a time.
He'll never raise his temper, or his heavy hand
that's what makes the black man a real man.
He's beside you at all times so we'll never be alone
and as long as he's around, his heart will be our home.
He won't stand in our way, but he'll watch carefully
and if we ever need him, right there he'll always be.
We are so proud to be a part of your black race
and we know you are our comforter who will never be replaced.
So to all the Black Queens please arise and sing
for here he comes...Our Pride and Joy....

The Black Nubian King

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
