I am sleepy, not because my body is weak.

I am sleepy, not because my mind can't think.

I am sleepy because my soul has become weak.

I am sleepy because my heart has grown tierd.

I am sleepy because I have given myself to those
I thought had a mind to listen, a soul to lead while
    their heart is the engine.

I am sleepy because im tierd of trying to  make peace.

I am sleepy, because I've tried with all my will for those to listen
and to no avail they have failed.

I am sleepy, because I have given them all of me and there is
    no more.

I am sleepy, because there is no more for me.

So with these thoughts I tilt the neck and try for just one more sec.

Enough to write what I know, enough that maybe you might close the hole in your gapping soul.

And with these words I am left with the night alone and I am cold.

I wait with eyes closed, thoughts open.

I wait and I wait for eyes to open.

For mind to obsorb, for a heart to listen.

For I am close to setting my soul free, my mind silent, my heart still, my eyes shut.

    So I can sleep.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
