Smarter Christians

A mind is a terrible thing to waste,
But to think as a Christian is no disgrace
Ready always to give an answer with our life here
Give that answer to all that seek with a start with Jesus cheer
Make sure you have meekness and Godly fear
Most Christians think there is no reason to think
But will ingest garbage not fit for the sink
Not too much ask to task is all I ask
Love your Master, you’re in His grasp

So love the Lord soul, mind, and spirit
Hear His commandments and follow through in it
Common sense not so common anymore kids
Let’s be like our Berean’s friends
Like those search the scriptures until the days end
So take out of the garbage, stop that sewer
Use that brain friends, and don’t complain
You may want to study, don’t break that chain

Give a man a fish you’ll feed him today
Teach a man to fish; he’ll be on his way
Learn your Bible from cover to cover
Don’t listen to all that T.V. clutter
Learn how to think is my goal
Come with me friends, let’s go Jesus way hence
