    So Sorry

I am so sorry you are gone

Looking into the distance as tears fall

    listening to that sorry song

    Sorry you cannot see

    All you shared with me

    Sorry for our children

Too live without their father seems a sin

Sorry for all the tears we shared

Together or apart we both always cared

No chance to make things right

I am sorry you had to go into the light

At peace with yourself and me

I am sorry it had to be

In a place you can always watch with pride

I am sorry that we can only see you inside

Our hearts a hole you left so deep

Close to our hearts you we will always keep

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
