    Sonnet XV

I was a woman of clear vision,
i see things before they are conceived,
but i did not possess the passion,
to nurture the gift i have received.

Then one day, i met a dreamer of dreams,
who breathes life into every horizon,
and adds to the sunlight an extra glean,
it was almost poetry in motion.

    Together we created magic,
something the world has never seen,
but life took away our music,
life took away my dreamer of dreams.

I am a woman without vision,
betrayed by life's clever use of illussion.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
