Soul Cancer

In this Broken life,
this souless shell,
this endless strife,
this morbid hell,
I will die here, there's no mistake,
a falling tear, a molten lake,
for when it comes I will not cry,
my heart is stone, ready to die,
forget me now, I wont come back,
a muffled sound, and endless crack,
to end this life,
to no longer weep,
to push the knife,
to put me to sleep,
in it goes,
the crimson red,
the bloodline slows,
my goal is met

For the love of my life,
Brittany Elizibeth Ann Talbert

This is a gorgeous poem. I like the way it makes you read it, slowly, steadily. Good work. ♥
