    SOULFULL DESIRE

Looking at life through the cool, cool blue,

Thinking of love, but dreaming of you,

Needing to want and wanting to need,

You walked out the door. I wept and I grieved.

Looking at life through the steel blue gray,

Wishing you’d go, but hoping you’ll stay.

What will it take to bring you this way?

To keep you here, from walking away.

Needing to find, just what I want,

Wanting to find, just what I need.

Keep in mind what you’re searching for,

Or you’ll find what you want, still longing for more.

Pushing at love like a dark red rose.

Wanting to open, though the door’s slammed closed.

Prying it loose, hoping to free,

My loves for you. Oh why can’t you see?

You’re lusted, you’re loved, just look to me.

I see what I want, I need what I see.

You have what I want, yet keep it from me.

Like a prize or a token you give it for free,

To all of the Barbies, but never to me.

My world was just fine, till you walked in on me.

There was nothing to find, nothing to need.

Till you walked through the door and aroused up in me

The lust, the desire, the physical need

Raping my soul with torment then glee.

I’m all screwed up with life’s sweet misery.

Oh God, oh Love, best friend to me

Don’t walk away, don’t let me be.

Find you’re way here, wanting with me.
