    Standing, Crying, Dying

I am in a crowded room, but
    I'm standing alone
I am sorrounded by millions, yet
    I'm standing alone
I have my friends, even though
    I'm standing alone

    I seem happy outside, but
    I'm crying inside
    I like my life, yet
    I'm crying inside
I show the real me, even though
    I'm crying inside

I am living my life, but
    I'm dying inside
    I am breathing, yet
    I'm dying inside
I am here today, even though
    I'm dying inside

I am in a crowded room, but
I'm standing, crying and dying alone
    And it's oddly okay

it's been said that life isn't easy, well then neither could be growing up, not for most people. keep smiling, and definately keep writing.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
