    Stefan's Poem

A life without you is a sight I can’t see.
Apart won’t last, I can prove that to be.
    It’s a pain I’d die than endure.
I’m not bluffing; my words are pure.

I’m sorry for the past; it’s a regret without change.
What’s done is done, I’m sorry to say.
A torture has come by the distance between us.
A fog is erupting; my refuge is in your trust.

Don’t you see without you there’s no air to breathe?
But I suffer more than I ever let you see.
You’re my ocean of love, my endless sea.
So now I ask, will you marry me?

Some good feeling captured within, a little bit confusing rhyme scheme, but strong ideas.

If you're pondering why it's called 'Stefan's Poem', it is because I wrote it for the book I'm writting: Sapphire. :) -Tiffany:)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
