STRESS

STRESS

A debilitating illness
got fired from the job
or dwelling on retirement
are signs of stress involved.

Often (through life) we come across
life's pressures building slow
we tackle them unknowingly
that stress built-up can blow.

Perhaps a loved-one passed away
(God rest their merry soul)
or marital seperation STRUCK !!!
where stress must take it's toll.

Sometime it's best to just relax
avoid the hectic-life
to settle-down or meditate
would cut stress like a knife

The positive and negative's
of stress run coast-to-coast
it's not (so much) the stress that counts
but HOW YOU COPE the most

I agree what counts is how you manage the stress definately from the heart

I believe and admire poems from the heart and of where we have been and where we are going now from all the pain-lies and disappointments. We survive-We live and we are strong. Author Aleja Bennett http://alejabennett.net84.net http://myspace.com/authoralejabennett

THANK-YOU Baby-doll (Alejapoet).... From yours truly, Dale Dean

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
