    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this poem when I was about 15 or 16 years old....I was having some family problems and I looked at suicide as being my only escape....I had a really long time to think about what I was about to do and figured that all my heartache wouldn't matter after what I was thinking it would do to my parents and sisters and brothers....

    Suicide

    Please move me from your mind

     

    I want to die so no one can find

     

    I don’t want to fight,

     

    god knows I’ll walk o his light

     

    People don’t care

     

    times like this is no fair

     

    They looked on my face

     

    and their on my case

     

    People say all kinds of lies

     

    leave me alone I want to die

     

    I tried to fix

     

    but I’m stuck in the mix

     

    Dying is what I want to do

     

    I don’t want to lie that’s the truth

     

    It’s time to say good-bye

     

    I wish I had wings so I can fly

     

    Here’s what I want to tell

     

    and I know that I’m going to hell

     

    I put everyone through so much pain

     

    for I cry it’s like falling rain

     

    Leave me here to die

     

    here’s my last words; good-bye!
