    Poem Commentary

    This poem was for a 'friend'....it was a sin because my dad disapproved of him.

    Years Apart

    As the water breaks and the rain falls


    My life has no meaning nothing at all


    So nothing to do and nothing to see


    I’ve always wanted you here with me


    But now your not and your with her


    My life has been wrong and I’m sure


    I made a sin by going out with you


    When you never knew my heart was true


    I did really want you but you didn’t really know


    What you left in my heart you left an empty hole


    It will be filled later on


    I know the time that’s gone


    Gone away gone forever


    Until that time comes its never


    And when that time has finally come


    My heart will tell me you’re the one.

    i like the simple nature you present here. but like they say.."father knows best". so maybe he knew or could foresee that this guy would break your heart or leave that empty hole. that possibly could be the reason for his disapprovement. and if true love is meant to happen, it will happen to you. just don't wait for it. move on. keep dancing. and don't hide from the inviting lights. to wallow over the small things is to waste ones life away. thanks for sharing this emotion with people.
