    Sunday Rain

    Thunder wakes me up
And I roll around in bed
    Raindrops hit the roof
Wish you were hitting the spot instead
I look at my phone, no missed calls
Don’t know why I am surprised
We spent hours the night before talking
You must be getting some shut-eye

I get up and put my shorts on
And hit the gym to sweat
At this time, I need some distraction
Too much pounding between my legs
All this rain falling in vain
All this time on my hands
This is what I call pain
    Again I curse distance!

And I won’t call anyone else
    That’s not how I am
If I want you, it’s you I want
Only you can give me satisfaction
When I see you, the rain better pour
I have so much planned for you
So much love I have in store
Just want to shower it on you

I don’t turn on any music
I let the rainfall make the sounds
They say this is the time for lovemaking
I wonder what you’re doing now
    In this Sunday Rain

    Hi

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
