Sunshine Raindrops

Sunshine Raindrops

A cloud appears on your sunny day while you try to find a reason to make it go away. You wish it away just thinking that it’s temporary. But after a day or two; you determine that it has become a necessity. When you come to the conclusion to shelter yourself from this draining effect and go inside. Not knowing that the Sunshine Raindrops won’t subside.

You think of things to keep your mind off the damaging effect. Not knowing that raindrops come with a resourceful help. Trying to protect and shield you. While at the end of the day you see that the efforts was for none the less. Looking back thinking that it was hard to endure. Not realizing that sunshine raindrops are the preparations for your fruits that are in store. When the fruits of your labor ignites you to want something so much more. More than what was expected. Forgetting that you were ever neglected and realizing that things happen when you least expect it.

I wish for the Sunshine Raindrops… pray for it to come my way. I ask for it to take me to a deserted plane oh so far away. Educated me and heal me and teach me the ways I need to know. To know the effect of the days to come and the days to grow. To not to become a fast learner but to be taught correctly and slow.

Lesson to be learned and things to be taught. Things to be wrong when you thought it was right such as blinded eyes being open for the first time when you thought you assume you already had your sight, warm sunny days or cold lonely nights with group arguments and solo fights.

Perfect days to expect, special memories to recollect. Photo images that leave a stain. Sunshine Raindrops that erases the pain.

You seem to have a sweet soul. Hold fast to it. You are so young. Life has so many wonders to share with you. Your eyes choose how to interpret. I believe you will always be on top.

Sunshine raindrops - Growing up in the Midwest, rain when the sun was out meant more rain is on the way. Better hunker down under an umbrella for a while 'til it passes,'-)

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
