    Superior

    Sweet soothing waters --
    ease my troubled mind,
    lead my heart to truth
    and back home again.

    For so long the turmoil
    and chaos of the city
    have turned me astray
    only to hurt again.

    Now, as I embrace your
    enchanting patterns
    with my soul,
    again I am free!

    I like!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
