    Symbol of love

Brought to earth this cold and heartless night
Be taken a charm of purest love
I the symbol that you can't ignore
I the symbol of love and warmth
Brought to you this dreadful night
Yet cast aside a mere fool
I am God's light onto this world
God's earthly substantial light of love and temptation
All have fallen and proven themselves unworthy and forsaken
For temptation has captured us all
The light of night has fallen quite as far as can be seen
Let love bet true and foresee the light
Midnight has come and I lay chilled in your eyes
    A token, a mere prize
    A fixation none the less
A child born of love but loved by hate
A symbolic reference to a love that was once known
Yet has faded with deception and dishonesty
It is only a ghost that shows no face
Still it haunts you with every given case
The land has been held accountable
Yet no one is to blame
So we will all sit in silence and live our lives forever in shame.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
