Poem Commentary

This is my first entry... It's an old poem that I made when I was, I believe, 7... "It's small and broken, but still good." -Stitch (Lilo and Stitch)

Teachers

Teachers can help
         If you didn't know,
Encourage your religion
         And help you grow.
And Teachers give knowledge,
         Power and Change.
Can Be in the city,
         Or home on the range
Having a teacher,
         A one of a kind,
Each grade you pass
         Different Teachers in Mind,
Really a teacher is
One of the best people to find.

excellent...and remember we are all teachers, in our own way. you're quite talented...keep writing.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
