TEAM WORK
As I sit her at my desk, with a sheet of paper in my hand
with all the names I know soell, of each and every man.
that piece of paper I took for granted, as I searched that messy list
And talked to myself, in frustration, of a second I might miss.
that piece of simple paper that was blank, until I got to the other side of the street
Became the most importnat thing, as I looked at all the faces
And realized that it was that simple piece of paper, that made me a part of the team.
We all have to stop sometimes, and take a breath or two,
and then it all comes togehter, and we realize what we have to do,
We throw away the animosity, and the thoughts of just ourselves
And e and we look to our fellow team member, and ask if he needs some help.
Yous ee it isn't just about yourself, from the time you enter the gate
Youshould never have to look at your atch and wonder if you ar e late.
You reperesent not just yourselves, for you wear another team players name
So think before you take that step, that ill put us all to shame.
Some will read the words I chose, and throw this simple piece of paper down
But I hope each who read and follow the meaning , smile instead of frown.
Becasue what it all boils down too, is simple and you may have to stop and think
I know I did, and it didn't start with this simple piece of paper, or the printer full of ink.
I made this blank piece of paper mean something special in my life
as I hope it does for you
So takes these words I wrote with meaning, and lets work as one instead of two.
