Tears
‘I’m at my best when I cry
When my eyes filled with tears
That’s when I realize the real me’
Tears are the sign of life
The first thing a soul does in life
Is what women do for every born child
Is what mamas do when we are gone
Tears means life
The beginning and an end
Our joy and our sorrow
When mystified for tomorrow
Tears in my laughter
Serve for victory
And day of my fall
Tears with no colours
With no races
In the mansion of Kings
In the domicile of slaves
In the house of worship
Tears are tested and felt by the heart
Known and admired
Honoured and discounted
‘If u don’t have tears, u don’t have heart’
‘If there are no tears, there is no life’
