"Tell Me What The Difference Is"
Tell me what the difference is,
Between you and I,
Is it that your skin is darker?
Or is it the color of your eyes.
I don’t see anything really,
But the heart you’ve shown to me,
The best of friends I’ll ever know,
The best one you’ll always be.
I know that you are richer than me,
And you walk on streets of gold,
You live in mansions your Father’s built,
And have riches many untold.
You know whatever there is to know,
And I know you know a ton,
I’ve heard you know the Creator of all,
And that you’re called His only begotten Son.
Yet you said you’ve made me in your image,
Now that’s a nice thing for you to have done,
I couldn’t have wanted anything better,
Than to look like the Father’s only Son.
