    The Beat

    Pulsations cannot mimic Nature
But they can enter your psyche
    And float in your chest
    Stirring the rush
    of Warmth.

    Your throbbing beat crashes
    and continues to pulse
    Into the stream
    that is
    me.

In the end there is silence?

I write best when all is not well. Guess that is often the norm for poetry. Have been reading a spanish poet in translation. The different form of expression captures me. That is poetry?

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
