    Goals

    Used to have them
Self flagelated trying to grasp them
Chased them in the early years
    But now
    Have only one goal...
    Not to have goals.

The One was a goal -
    trying to find him
    Trying to lure him
    Into my life
    And then
    Giving up and meeting him.

    Labels were construed
    as goals for a time.
    Marriage
    Carreer and Children
    Until now
    When all is "the End".

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
