the crazy world
The crazy world I may pass you and not know you, For you’re a ghost to my mind. We sometimes cross ourselves but few Notice those who pass behind. We walk past in unending role And don’t know who on the next stroll We’ll meet and the next day find. My thoughts roam round my mind inside, Nay, it flies to what to do. Like a bird on the air abide’, It roves round inside you too. And when I get us introduced, My indifference will not be used For my mind’s eyes have seen you. It’s a hard crazy world we stay. The mad and meek make it ‘sane. Crazy in the sense that we may Think of gain and next of pain. Our mind is easily busy, For in it, we get all wheezy, Unsure of thoughts to retain. Surely it is our problems’ course To make us two in dealings And this spurs us, as if by force, To shun the world’s revealings And pay the mind an attention. These also give us some tension And cloud our minds’ ceilings. Sometimes, in this oblivious state, Those who know and pass by me Think I’ve opened my snubbing gate But don’t know what disturbs me. I’m always in myself enmeshed With the more troubles that I’ve fetched. I may snub but lost can’t be.the crazy world

- I feel the stress and anxiety in your words. Life can fill your plate with problems and worries and make you lose your appetite.
