The Dance
Lightning struck, sparks flew,
Fairies danced while the wind blew.
Wings fluttered, skirts swirled,
The fairies sang as they whirled.
Within the circle of mushrooms wild,
The rain fell gentle and mild.
On they danced with all their might,
Fairies danced till dawns light.
Back they raced underground,
Deep beneath the fairie mound.
Till the next time lighting strikes,
The fairies wait for dusk's golden light.
