    The Edge Of Night

     We are living in the days on  the edge of night

       You can see the Darkness swallowing up the light
       as the world of man accepts wrong for right

       Time is short
       and it is foolish to waste it

        By debating with skeptics
        that faith in God is considered intellectually bright

       We are living in the days on the edge of night

       The Enemy's delusion is thick
       So walk by faith and not by sight

       We are living in the days on the edge of night

       Don't lay around sun bathing in the light
       We must pick up the banner of Christ
       and work as long as there is light

    I liked this poem, Surealworld. Even all the "ight" rhymes were okay. The message was solid, complete with alluding to scriptures. I think you're onto something. It's nice to find a poem I can read with no questionable language or objectionable content. I'm going to read some more of your work when I find it and have the time. Have a great week! linlee
