The Girl in the Glasses

The Girl in the Glasses

Did you ever see her there?
looking out the window with her notebook.

Did you ever see her there?
reading the paper making her changes,
thinking her thoughts.

Ever see her creations?
how lovely they are, or ugly they can be.
did you see them dance with the magic they possess,
It seems to being coming from their movement.

Have you seen them fight?
with anger of a fire that will never be lifted by water,
or with a deep despair that no light will ever touch.

Did you ever see her there?
with her notebook.
the words she puts on the page will come to life,
before your eyes.
see them walk and leap off the pages.

Have you seen her?
sitting at her chair in the corner by the window.

Have you ever seen her?
did you see her notebook?

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
