    The Horizon

Far out beyond the azure sea

    The horizon sits beckoning me

Not to swim or to surf or sail

But to climb aboard your big soft tail

We'll ride all day and into the night

    Pressed close together holding tight

Content in knowing it will always be

    Out there, beckoning me.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
