The Kiss of Love and Glory

The Kiss Of Love And Glory

Oh Father God, I saw the sea

And like a mighty cup

It overflowed the rims of the world.

Oh Father God , I saw the depths

And the world  overturned

And the depths became heights.

Oh Father God, I saw the distant stars

And like a glistening light

Their tears touched the world.

Oh Father God, I saw the lakes and rivers

Smile like the flowers in the quiet

Of mornings dewy promise.

Oh Father God, I saw the dance of day

The sky arrayed in fluffy blooms

Dancing to the music of the winds.

Oh Father God, I saw the mountains

Armored like warriors

Warriors of a King over kings.

Oh Father God, I saw the human race

Breathing in the honey

Of friendship, home and hope.

And in the aspect of all I saw.

I saw that which fades not.

Amidst all that fades.

For it is your mercy that overflows the rims of the world

And your care that turns the depths to heights.

And your trears that touch this distant world.

And your smile in the new morning dew.

It is your joy that dances in the dance of day

And your majesty over mountains might

And you are the hope of honey into man.

Oh father God, in all these things I saw.

My lips felt more than my eyes.

Your kiss of  love and glory.
