    The Love I want

    Love that is

    Simple-

    Without strain-

    Without mazes to the

Place where peace can be found.

    Love that does not come

    In packages filled

    With the unknown-

    Love that is always kind

    Never dark even when storms

    Gather in the night.

    Love that blossoms in

    waterless soil just because

The colors were meant to be-

    Love that only knows

    Joy and happiness

    And

    Harmony and tranquility.

Love that is never rude or painful

    Or tired or drowsy-

    Love that lives without regret

    Or pride or smugness-

Love that smiles even when sadness

Sneaks like rain on a sunny day

Into days filled with the unknown.

    Simple love----

    One that does not require

    Sweat or labor.

    The love I want

    Is just that-

    Simplicity.

I think alot of us want simplicity, unfortunately human beings are so complicated that simplicity is as hard to find as a needle in a hay stack . Love is an amazing gift . I hope you find it just the way you picture it . Good poem

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
