    The Love Of The Game

    Fresh Cut Green Grass
    White Lines That Show
Whether You're Pushing Ahead Or Falling Back

    Fans Start To Show
    Decked Out In School Colors
    Ready For A Good Game

    Everyone Starts Cheering
    Here Comes The Home Team
    Ready To Do Some Work

    With Their Game Faces On
The Line Shakes Hands With The Enemy
    It's Time To Fight

    Finally Time For Kickoff
Sacked At The 40 yd line
Determined To Go All The Way

    4th Down At The 10
QB's Ready To Pass But No One's There
He Dives And Tries To Run It In

    Opponents Throw A Hail Mary
The ball Is Caught By Our Side
    The Crowd's Cheers Are Deafening

    Back In Our Possession
The Ref Calls Illegal Holding On Our Side
    And Sets Us Back 10

    The Ball Is Snapped
A Long Pass Thrown To Seemingly No One
    Miraculously Caught

Taken In For The Winning Touchdown
    The Crowd Screams And Cheers
Showing Their Love Of The Game
