The Love We Share
Love brought us to this place in time.
Soon I will be yours and you will be mine.
I'm so thankful we were taught how to pray.
I know that's why we're standing here today.
Holding tightly to each other's hand;
Guided by our Father's plan.
Staring deeply into each other's eyes;
More bonded than even we realize.
As we turn to face the altar,
I know the Lord will steady us when we falter.
Show us the joy of being husband and wife.
Move us quickly through the storms of life.
Thank you God for the candle we're about to light.
Another assurance that everything is going to be alright.
Give us the strength to make it through.
And never forget the beauty of the day we said, "I do."
