The Path of Life

As the years go by, seeking knowledge and truth,
As we build foundations and establish strong roots,
As we nurture our family in a path to succeed,
Which reflects our communities, in whole our society,

Looking back on the years, compare to our present
state,
And the memories of elders, who witness significant
change,
Life is a blessing; treat each day with respect,
With God as your focus, as his presence reflects

And what a beautiful image we do see,
The icon for mothers now and mothers to be,
With a heart so kind it affects your soul,
Lovely memories, will be left in our hearts to hold

The days of our years are threescore years and ten,
You are truly blessed, to have seen and fulfilled,
And though your flesh has left your spirit is not
gone,
Your soul continually moves, everlasting it lives on
