    THE PERFECT NOSTALGIA

    THE PERFECT NOSTALGIA

    I lie here
    With you on my mind
Shadows of the pair of us
    Still dance before me
    Every other day

Yes it is the perfect nostalgia
    I pray I don’t suffer from insomnia
    For what I feel now
    Has been felt before
A re-collection of what we shared

The role of a quintessential hermit

Is all your absence has left me

    To play

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
