    Hopefully, a pick me up to those who read this..

    The promise of better times;

     Painfull day's I lived through, for the promise of better times,
    these times that seem to never come, but always lay just a step away;
     Take that step and find what wait's for you, If you stumble, get up and persist,
    don't let the day of bliss be lost becouse you gave up today.
    Don't struggle to the finish line and not finish the race, push to the very end;
     The promise of better times are the times that are made while making your way through life, for it is in the hard time's that the best in a person come's through, when one draw's from a source that wasn't even known to exist within.
     This is the time that all one has left are the Morals that were learned thoughout life,
    and the faith that thing's will be better with time.
     With this knowledge and aquired courage,it is easy to see that the best of times, are the times that are given to others on your journey through this life.
    With this in mind, go out in the world today and give those around you, The promise of better times!

    Poetry comes from within. Our inner thoughts, what one goes thru in life. Each individual goes through many different things. So poetry is unique in its own way spoken or written in many different forms. Very nice job. One reading your poem should be able to take away the message you are sending out. we can all learn something from this one. not only focus on ourselves but take what we learn in life and share it with others. that my friend is what poetry is all about. ( smile )

    Nice message rocetman...I think I'd break it up a little and work on the cadence, but you definitely have something here.

    thanks WS,I was waiting to see what responce this would get,, keep this in mind and live the better times.
