    THE ROAD

    The road is long
    the path is narrow
    I must go fast yet
    fly straight as an arrow

    For time is fast
    Yet time moves slow
That's when relativity always takes hold

    I can floor the pedal
    Or use the brakes
As long as I'm in control
I can do what it takes

    There's a fast lane
    And a slow lane
They both share the same line
    Sometimes we need the shoulder
    So we can see everything
    just fine
    SKY

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
