    The Rose

My heart was in your hands, our love for one anther, was like a rose, so beatifull, so alive, so wild.
Our rose began to bloom, as we grew closer, we began to grow old. As time passes our rose fades, our love is not strong.
We seperate, like our rose, love takes a fall, soon to die, now there is no longer a rose.

The ending, though real sad, might be just like in real life, only the thorn of the roses, might be why love cannot stay seated in the lap of luxury and copasetic pleasures to make for a happy ending. All good things must come to an end, right?Like all stories, the reader does not have to like it's sad, bad, ending!

This is interesting, and true, If you do not nurture your flowers, they will die., There is one mispelled word, it is, (one anther), (in the First Line)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
